The Thunder Canyon Gopher Tortoise Day Special Collection will be available from April 6th through April 12th.

This "threatened" animal is considered a keystone species due to its importance to many other species. The Gopher Tortoise (Gopherus polyphemus) is a good neighbor as it shares its climate-controlled burrows with more than 350 other creatures including the rare Burrowing Owl and Gopher Frog.
